DIY Woodworks is an online space to share my ideas and thoughts on some of the small woodworking projects I have made, from a beginners perspective. It has been a way of documenting my projects and thoughts along the way. DIY Woodworks is also an excuse to combine my interest in websites and content writing with my woodworking hobby. Fortunately, the things I have made have given me plenty to write about.
The woodworking projects that I have completed have largely arisen due to necessity. For example, when I moved into my flat I needed a small coffee table, so I would then plan ahead to make one myself. It’s been a great way to learn new skills and gather a range of bespoke items that I have made myself. Starting off with small woodworking projects such as coffee tables and shelves helped to build my confidence up and I have worked my way up to some bigger projects such as a DIY breakfast bar. It’s been a fun experience so far and I hope you enjoy looking around. I have tried to explain each woodworking project I have undertaken in simple terms.
